Finally had a good evening to pop in and try this new spot! Seated right away around 6pm on a Thursday evening. Our server, Nayah was absolutely lovely. Very attentive but gave the right amount of space when we were a little slow deciding on a few things. Soup and fried dumplings and Bao buns were excellent. I maintain that dumpling places have the best string beans and Ugly Dumpling did not disappoint! Was also very happy to see a diverse amount of boba type offerings that were very flexible to suit a wide variety of tastes. Price was also very reasonable for quality and amount of food. Only downside was the restaurant was quite warm and humid when we were there and the floor was very slick (I almost slipped a couple times walking to the bathroom and back). Will definitely be back!

We went for lunch and didn't have long for a table. Our table was really sticky, looked like it was wiped down with a dirty rag. We wanted to try their soup dumpling sampler, but we were told that they were out. We got there just a little after they opened, so we were a bit surprised they were out already. We ordered a few different things, so we could try. They bring everything as ready, so you can expect to get things at different times. Staff was very friendly but absent at times. We had an issue with one of our dishes, and the manager came to help out. He was very polite as well, and even though he tried to rectify our dish, but it came back with the same issue. Good looking place. It has a nice vibe. I may try it again, I like the idea, but the first visit was a slight let down.

My husband and I came specifically for dumplings. Original wait for a table was about 30 minutes so be prepared. Once we sat, the server was quick with getting our order in. 2/3 dumplings came out quickly. I think there may be an issue with runners delivering the right food but we absolutely didn't hold that against them. The server was incredibly apologetic and so friendly. Honestly, the dumplings were worth it in our opinion. We'd be interested to come back and try other dumpling offerings.

We came here for linner around 3-4 PM. Our server, Elise, was friendly/ helpful and answered our questions. The food didn’t take long to come out despite it being pretty full. There’s a glass window where you can see the dumplings being made which is cool. I enjoyed the dumplings, but I especially loved the Rangoon and the shrimp noodles. The drinks were surprisingly good too which were the strawberry crème & honey lemonade. Great place to come for lunch or dinner with reasonable prices.

Went to Ugly Dumpling to have lunch for my birthday and enjoyed the meal. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions for us as we were looking at the menu. We sat near the section they made the dumplings in, so it was cool to see the process a little bit. Everything was very filling, you will not be disappointed going here
